The nXDS scroll pump operates based on two interlocking spiral scroll rotors. One rotor is fixed, while the other rotates eccentrically around the fixed rotor. The rotation of the eccentric rotor creates a spiral movement in the cavity between the two rotors, which draws in gas or air. As the rotors rotate, the gas or air is pushed towards the outer edge of the pump and is expelled through the exhaust port.
